104 Golfers Team Up in Support of Organ & Tissue Donation

LifePoint’s debut Golf Fore Life Tournament to advance awareness of organ and tissue donation attracted 26 foursomes to The Furman Golf Club in South Carolina’s Upstate on May 30, 2009. Participants had the chance to win weekend getaways and many other silent auction and raffle items. During a reception catered by Smoke on the Water, guests heard from speakers Dennis Murphy, a liver recipient from Murrells Inlet, and Ed Billings, a donor dad from Columbia, S.C.
