Neville Miller Wins LifePoint 5K in 15:46

A total of 254 racers from 11 states completed LifePoint's 4th annual Gift of Life 5K Run/Walk on March 7, 2009 which benefits organ and tissue donation as well as our South Carolina transplant recipients.

The overall winner was Neville Miller, 26, of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., who finished with a time of 15:46. Second-place overall was Karl Walsh, 33, also of Mt. Pleasant, who finished with 16:09. Third-place, with a time of 18:39, was Ray Lewis, 52. Fourteen transplant recipients competed in a separate division won by Heather Lanesky, 39, of Summerville, S.C., with a time of 29:30.
