More Than 500 Attend Ceremony to Celebrate Loved One's Gift of Life

More than 500 donor family members and friends attended LifePoint’s April 19th remembrance ceremony to honor South Carolina’s organ and tissue donors.

The Eighth Annual Donor Family Ceremony, at First Baptist Church in Columbia, S.C., featured a video of the donors, a display of South Carolina’s new donor quilts, special music, as well as numerous inspirational speeches. Among those who spoke were donor and transplant family members, LifePoint President and CEO Nancy Kay, as well as Kim Phillips, Administrative Director for the Transplant Service Line at MUSC.
