LifePoint Recognizes Long-time Assistance From Director of Nursing at Self Regional Healthcare

Employees of LifePoint extend their appreciation and congratulations to Jackie Thornton, RN, for her dedication to furthering organ, tissue and eye donation during her 35 years of service at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, S.C.

Thornton, Director of Nursing for CCU and ICU at Self, will retire at the end of July. “Jackie has always been a leader in her units at Self in helping increase understanding of donation among the staff,” said Kay Harris, Clinical Services Liaison at LifePoint.
